About this deal

When you read The Outcast by award winning steamy romance author Eve M. Riley there are certain things you need to do to first, so here's my list to prepare for this erotic romantic experience: good. Isn’t it a curse to see bad/ evil form of every person or choosing to involve oneself in bad things? Fabian has an ex and life was chaotic for him as he was working for a secret organisation and always experimenting with drugs, someone else had control of his life until Kate came and he took the control of his life in his own hands. But Eve’s writing is transporting and creates a believable relationship through dialogue between the two. I really recommend reading this, and keeping in mind my personal opinions about certain areas do not detract from this writers incredible talent! This is VERY on trend with a lot of beautiful books currently, walking a tightrope to add to the anticipation and the burn 🔥 Kate is a collected and determined medical student in her first year of residency. Her family is uptight and rich. Cold parents who have her future mapped out, and she never found in herself the will to fight them, but that all changes when she meets Fabian as a patient in one of her ER shifts, and not only for her but also for him. They communicate with each other, even without words, not realizing how strong they are together.

This is such an interesting story, with some action and surprise twists. The characters are complex and intriguing, very likeable. It had me reading on, hoping and praying they overcome every obstacle in their way. Two years after the first one messed me up with his bullshit, here’s another one: lying in front of me in the ER, unconscious. The last one chewed me up and spat me out, so I’m not going anywhere with this one. Unlike last time, I know exactly what I’m dealing with. I’m older. Wiser. Moving on. As low as life may seem in the clutches of Necromunda's gangs, there's always a lower rung to which unfortunate souls can fall. These outcasts, hated and spurned by the 'respectable' denizens of the underhive, gather together to form gangs of their own – be it for greed, ambition, or simply safety. [1] DescriptionWhat a great book, full of twists and turns, and one in particular that I didn’t see coming! The chemistry between Fabian and Kate is electric. Her version of the good girl striving to save the bad boy was unique and fun to read. There was a particular sad, and beautifully written, event that made me outright cry. You should never let them help you out—that’s where I think it all goes wrong, that’s when they slip under your defences. You start to think that underneath that rough exterior—the tattoos, the long hair, the sexy body—maybe they’re okay, maybe, against the odds, they’re a decent guy … But then you prize open the lid and look inside and the cheating and the excuses hit you right slap bang between the eyes … “The opening to this book broke my damn heart.” KelsBookstagram, Book Blogger “This book made me laugh out loud, made me cry, got me red hot with anger and made me LOVE the give-and take relationship between Fabian and Kate.” Erika Clements, Book Reviewer “This is the first book I have read from this author, and I absolutely loved it!” Sam O’Neill, Goodreads Reviewer “This was my first book by Eve and wow was it a great start. Fabian and Kate had such an interesting dynamic, one I haven’t really experienced before. Ans that was a great thing!” Lanie Marshall, ARC Reviewer Ide Mea is my favorite side character. She adds a contrast to the Mennonite life. She is also there when Rachel needs support. She is a steady constant throughout the story, even though she does a little growing of her own.

Also, he never knows what happens to himself during those episodes, so perhaps he should probably get tested for sexually transmitted diseases etc before they stop using contraception. Considering his lifestyle, it’s literally the least he could do. Kate also experienced growth in her relationship with Fabian and realized she needed to better communicate with Fabian especially when she was sad and was working on survival mode. She also grew past needing her parents acceptance which I was so happy for because her parents, although successful, seemed too concerned with image. Ugh, I loved this book. It was very reminiscent of Ranger's Apprentice in the brotherly comradeship, and of course, some of the characters like Erak are recycled. Hal is very much like Will. Both are outcasts and have different talents than most people, but they find their place and turn out to have much talent. This is both good and bad, as I loved Will and Hal makes me feel like I'm reading about him again with all of his epic awesomeness, but this also had a downside in that it seems John Flanagan cannot write about other protagonists with character traits other than Will/Hal. I'm so excited to finally read more about Fabian! I've been intrigued by him since "The Refusal” and I'm glad "The Outcast” reveals more about Fabian and the way he is motivated by his past. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about Kate when we were first introduced to her because she seemed a bit unsure of herself as a doctor. I'm glad that she eventually found her footing, which is especially important seeing as an emergency room doctor. Jolina Petersheim’s debut novel, The Outcast, truly transcends genre, telling a story of betrayal, legalism and jealousy, but, more importantly, of hope, healing and forgiveness. The layered plot & multi-faceted characters combined with a poetic, lyrical writing style give this novel an unexpected edgy and realistic quality that is not often found in novels of this setting.
