Don’t get me wrong. It fits what I assume to be the most common type. But there are going to be plenty of you, say with a spray faucet or faucet without threading, that will not be able to use your water changer out of the box. I’m terribly sorry to hear about your water changing issues, this can be one of the more time consuming and difficult parts of the hobby – the layout of your home can impact it dramatically. I’ve also broken one gravel tube, the threaded male end snapped right off the tube and the plastic compression nut started to disintegrate so the hose kept slipping off it. Mind, this is the only time the gravel tube broke, whereas 3 faucet pumps have bitten the dust in the same length of time. It’s not something we noticed on our first few uses.
