Why couldn't Adam stay as he was instead of being so threatening and abusive?? Why did his character have to be assassinated just so Warner could look good and he could look like a scumbag in comparison?! Why did the author have to resort to such contrived, lazy, pathetic, poorly written bullshit?! Why couldn't she trust readers to make up their own mind about Adam and Warner instead of spoon feeding us rubbish and trying to force us to feel a certain way?! Ugh, I'm so pissed.
Warner blinks. Literally in the first chapters we got plot twist after plot twist, and I was so confused, because SO MUCH STUFF WAS JUST BEING ADMITTED and I was freaking out! But a lot happened, with Juliette reeling from what happened in Unravel Me, and she didn't know if her friends were all dead and all that jazz. But just wow, I'm so hyped for the next books. (let's not talk about how I forgot everything that happens in Unravel Me except for a Warnette kiss heheh...) I saw a candle on Etsy called "Ignite My Love. Ignite." I'm going to buy it. I also saw a Warner candle and yes. I'm going to get that one too.
The story basically started after the Omega Point had been destroyed by Anderson and Julliete was shot by Anderson but Aaron somehow saved her. She thought that her friends died and she didn't wanted to let Anderson destroy other things and kill other people so she decided to kill him. But she wasn't enough to make this plan work but then she somehow met Kenji who led her to their other friends who were still very much alive. And they all together fought to destroy The Reestablishment and to kill Anderson. Kenji is obviously my platonic soulmate so I can’t forget about him. He brings everything to the table okay: We’d been growing apart since escaping to Omega Point, but that was my fault. He wanted more from me, but I wanted him to live a long life. I wanted to protect him from the pain I would cause him. I tried to forget him, to move on without him, to prepare myself for a future separate and apart from him.I relate to a lot of Juliette’s thoughts in book one so I guess she is a very personal character to me and seeing her grow makes my heart warm every single time. It's the kind of kiss that inspires stars to climb into the sky and light up the world. The kind that takes forever and no time at all."
