About this deal

What: It’s that smooth, delicious Lindt chocolate you know and love, but with a blood orange twist. This tasty LINDOR variant is new for 2023 and comes with a bunch of those absolutely sensational truffles inside - Easter isn’t complete without a few Lindt truffles is it? What: There are few Easter treats more iconic than the Lindt bunny. But this is no ordinary bunny. This one-kilo gold rabbit is pretty much life-sized and comes in its own box with a strap for carrying, presumably so you carry it with you and eat bits of it throughout the day.

I then mix in melted butter – you can use baking spread, but sometimes this makes it greasy. If you find your biscuit bases are a little hard, you can reduce the butter to about 100g. Also, if you want to use a chocolate covered biscuit, filled biscuit, light biscuit, or buttery biscuit like shortbread you need to use 100g of butter as well as they require less. If you’d like your Easter egg to come with a clear conscience, Divine is always a good choice as the brand is famously co-owned by the cocao farmers it works with. So the farmers get a share of the profits they help to create, and you get a great tasting egg. The chocolate has a deeply satisfying snap when you break a piece off, and the taste is on the rich, earthy side of the flavour spectrum, with woody tobacco notes. It’s just bitter enough to know that it’s a good quality dark chocolate, but doesn’t dry out your mouth too much. What: Percy Pig and Colin the Caterpiller - two iconic treats that are getting an Easter makeover from M&S this year. Treat the chocolate lover in your life to a giant Percy Pig or Colin face - the latter is white chocolate, and Percy is milk chocolate so they cover all bases.

What: Venchi’s Cremino range has long been one of its most popular and it’s easy to see why when you taste the eggs. An outer layer of gianduja - made with Piedmontese hazelnuts - surrounds an inner core of white chocolate and hazelnut paste. A unique Easter treat that anyone would be very happy to receive. We’ve done the hard work taste testing to help you find the best vegan Easter chocolates, whether you prefer:

Although the dark chocolate on its own might usually be a little too intense for kids, when it’s teamed with the marshmallows the sweet, sugary marshmallow takes the edge off the cocoa in the most perfect balance. They’re really good marshmallows too. What: Can’t choose between milk chocolate and dark chocolate? Choose both with Chococo’s giant half and half treat, which weighs in at a solid half kilo of handcrafted chocolate heaven, including handmade chocolates inside. What: It’s a hot cross bun, but not as you know it. This tasty treat swaps your classic bun for chocolate and more chocolate, but the chocolate is spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and the like, and loaded with raisins and orange jelly pieces. I didn’t add chopped mini eggs to the recipe like I do in my Mini Egg cheesecake because I found the recipe already had enough chocolate orange flavour – but you can add them if you wish! I do find the orange colour from the shells does leak badly though after some time.
