I love that both characters know exactly what they want to do with their life and that they are working their tails off to make it happen. Sabrina is so crazy organized and detailed, it makes me happy because I am the same :) I'm really glad she stood up to her mother and father after they went too far trying to organize her life - it made me extremely happy and I may have even cheered out loud, haha! And Murphy is the jokester of the bunch, but I love how the reader gets to see the serious side to him and how much he loves the people around him. I’m now the slut monkey cougar that has snared these characters into her own cougar reverse harem!!! And if you doubted that there was such a thing, there is now. I felt all the feels! I never thought in a million years that Murphy could take Brady’s spot in my head but damn, he stole it and isn’t budging! More Than A Game just goes to show that authors are masterminds!All In is Bella Matthews debut novel but reading this story One would never guess it. With a Smooth going Plot, brother's-best-friend trope, Lovable characters, Laughs, Beautiful Friendships AND Drama+Angst Thrown in for fun, This story will Draw you in! Brady takes one look at his best friend/teammate's sister, Natalie, and he knows without a doubt he wants her. He also knows he can't have her. Why? Well, she's off limits, as Cooper has stated. She's football royalty in their town. And she's only 17. But can Brady keep his hands off her? That's a question he continually asks himself, along with why he can't stop thinking about her. He's supposed to be focusing on football, not on his best friend's sprite of a sister. Bella Matthews took off running, pulled off some spin moves, and scored a thrilling 'touchdown' with More Than A Game. In All In we get a feel for our ginger heartthrob Aiden Murphy. We understand he is a carefree, playboy heartthrob. Possibly voted biggest flirt or maybe class clown his Senior year. (If American high schools still do that sort of thing). We also get glimpses of our girl too, Sabrina! Ever since I read All In I have been waiting to read More Than A Game especially after we received the teaser at the end of the first book. Bella Matthews debut novel All In was one of the best books I have read in a while so I had very high hopes about More Than A Game and she blew me out of the water. This book took you through so many different emotions and kept you wanting more throughout the whole book!

But their relationship is a tangled web that they are trying to navigate around. Their parents are married to each other, and Cooper is her brother's best friend. Trying to figure out their feelings and relationship under THAT microscope is not going to be easy. It also does not help that Cooper is a Navy SEAL, who gets deployed at a drop of a hat. Other than that, this book was a great story. I liked that we were able to get an epilogue for Murph and Brina, unlike with All In.However, with that said, Nattie and Brady are still my favourite. #SorryNotSorry There's so much I want to say, but I refuse to spoil anything. But I need part two like I need my next breath. Think I can bargain with Bella? Lmao Murphy and Sabrina's story was so much more than I could have ever imagined. Bella Matthews wrote an incredibly beautiful, up and down rollercoaster of emotions, through all the feels, magnificent path for these two characters. The depth and the way she constructed their every day situations, gave way to two people who grew, matured, evolved, and figured out who they were as new adults coming of age. She made me laugh, cry (like ugly cry), get mad, think, swoon, identify with the characters, and need a fan with all the sexyness. Murphy and Sabrina burn with so much passion, desire, and love...believe me, it will make you want and need a red head man in your life 😉! Their journey to a HEA took me on a emotional rollercoaster about first love, loss, resilience, family, friendships, and protecting and fighting for those you love. I laughed, I cried, I felt frustrated and angry, I swooned, but mostly I found myself smiling with a truly happy heart as I devoured this beautifully written story about first and soul deep forever love.Book Genre: Contemporary, Contemporary Romance, Fiction, Football, High School, New Adult, Romance, Sports, Sports Romance, Young Adult Sabrina! Girl after my own heart! She definitely has taken Nattie’s place in my soul! She is officially my favorite Kroydon Hills lady, for now! She really has come into herself in this book! One look is enough to realize that she’s the one. The one who deserves everything, and more than that. She’s everything he want, everything he needs, and yet she’s the one off-limits. Will he be able to stay away or will he do anything to make her his…only his?

okay, this wild ride of emotions has put me through the ringer and I can now fully process what I have read.Baby (?!), Cooper's going Away party, Murphy's Mom+Coach Sinclair (Truths & Hope!), Dec+Anna *whoa*, S+M Talk it out *Yes!*, No baby (Huh?), Cooper's letters... Sabrina is by far one of my most favourite characters I’ve read in awhile. She’s the yin to Murphy’s yang in so many ways. When we meet her at the beginning of the book, she is quiet, unassuming, a little of a control freak and just a tad uptight as the Senators daughter. But, with her friends, she’s sassy, strong, independent, funny and a lioness when people try to hurt her loved ones. More than a Game is the 2nd book by new author Bella Matthews and with how well written this book was you could never tell.

If you loved Murphy in All In, brace yourself, I can assure you that you will be a goner for that Ginger Boy after this!! To start, this has to of my favorite tropes in one: brothers best friend and stepbrother. So you know right away this forbidden romance is going to be epiiiic, and then you have them being SEALS too? Oh goodness yes please. Cooper Sinclair is an active Navy SEAL, and Carys is a college student trying to figure out if she wants to study music or fashion. Carys is just trying to identify herself and her true passion. They run into each after not seeing each for sometime and things start to take off from there.. Going into this book I knew it was going to be a brilliant but hard read...I mean what duet isn't...and this time (if you are already a Matthews fan) you're already invested in the characters...but I never expected it to destroy me the way it did. The thing is Cooper and their eldest brother, Declan have a love for football, like their dad. They live, eat, and breathe it. Nat has never felt that way. She had always had her twin with her, but he transferred from their school in, California, to Kroydon Hills Prep. Then, halfway through last year, right after their dad got a new position. Coop made the change leaving her alone. Her mom a model, had retired, and she was used to traveling and missing it, so she is doing that now, traveling. Nat barely saw her, which was nothing new. Declan is in his junior year at Notre Dame. Coop and her Dad are on the other side of the country, she was beginning to hate being, in California. The reason the was still in Cali missing everyone is the summer intensive, and now it's what she can't wait for it to be over. She did realize something, she wasn’t living her best life, she was just going through the motions. She didn’t love ballet anymore. Nat just loved being good at it. She has a plan, and it's easy. Start living life. That's number one.
