About this deal

Threaded rods come in various lengths and diameters, meaning their functionality covers a huge range of applications. These rods are very useful as they can be custom cut to length to suit your application and the thread can have a right-handed or left-handed thread pattern. Undercut studs (rolled thread) are also stronger because the metal is "rolled" up to the major diameter, not removed. This preserves the grain of the steel, and in some cases even enhances it. Full bodied studs (cut thread) are weaker because metal is removed to create the thread, disturbing the grain of the steel. What type of stud you need, is it a conventional Engineer Stud, a waisted stud, tie bars, a collar stud, wheel studs or studs to drawing or your design

Double End Studs to DIN 939 are also available at Fastenright, as well as a huge selection of threaded rod– all supplied in a wide range of sizes, materials and finishes to meet your requirements. The nominal length of these Double End Studs is determined by the length of the long thread combined with the length of the unthreaded section. The short thread (b1) has a fixed length and is typically installed into a tapped machine hole, while the length of the long thread (b2) will vary depending on the length of the stud.are they UNC studs, UNF Studs, BSW Studs, BSF Studs, Metric Studs or Metric Fine Studs or even a combination of different threads on each end, a step down stud for example.

Double End Studs, conforming to DIN 938 standard, feature two external threads with an unthreaded section in between – where the shorter thread or stud end is equal to 1 x d.Of course many Engineer Studs are complete Special Studs made to your designs and drawings, but often special material grade studs are needed to a regular international standard such as DIN525 Studs, DIN938 Studs. DIN939 Studs, DIN940 Studs, DIN2509 Studs. DIN2510 Studs, BS2693 Studs, BS4439 Studs, ANSI B16.5 Studs, NFE25135 Studs or any other international standard stud. Threaded rods are most commonly constructed from metals such as steel or stainless steel but can also be produced in brass and even in Nylon to best suit their application. Their main use is to fasten wood or metal together, but they are also used to stabilise structures by being inserted into concrete and can be done so on a permanent or temporary basis. Their threading also allows for bolts or nuts to easily fasten to it where required. Both threads are designed for engagement with an internally threaded fastener, such as a nut. Otherwise known as Engineers Studs, Engineering Studs, Threaded Stud Bolts, Double Ended Threaded Bar or Tap End Studs, they are ideal for numerous applications that require a double threaded component.
