About this deal

She blames Miles for something that isn't his fault, like, the fact that her boyfriend left her, even if Miles talked to him and that's what made him leave her, is not Miles fault.

You don't know what's happening to Abigail and what's happening to the main character and the ex-stepbrother.

Tbh this book was never in my TBR but i just couldn't sleep and it was the only book that i got in my phone. The characters do go to a bar and drink with friends but nothing crazy(I thought I'd mention this because I know some readers don't care to read about that in their books, but the characters don't act drunk or out of control). Well written, fleshed out characters, and a family I'm looking forward to reading more about make this story a winner. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. The characters were well developed and the story was about healing, trust and learning to love again.

When Josh’s mother, the town’s busy body, arranges for Beth to be his nanny, Josh decides to go along with it. And if you're trying to portray Miles as an actual caring single father, the way his relationship with his daughter is written seems like an afterthought.

Then there is the alternating POV that switches between Shelby (MC), Miles (single dad) and Abigail (supposedly new bff of MC) almost every chapter.

I've had this book sitting waiting for me for several weeks, I kept looking at it knowing I wanted to read it and just trying to find the time amidst the million other things that life is throwing at me right now (good things, just busy). I loved the fact the author wrote the story about About Miles an the love he has for his daughter, and the patients he has for the love of his life and made sure to tell her he will be there for her when she is ready to leave the bad in the pass and to finally be happy !Yet when Josh and his 5 year old son Jordan come into her life again, it's taking everything she has not to open up to him and gather strength and help from this crushing weight she's carrying around. When Josh’s mother, the town’s busybody, arranges for Beth to be his nanny, Josh decides to go along with the plan. Since she had once had a goal of publishing a novel when she was in her teenage years, she decided to finally pursue it. I kept reading to find it but finally got to it near the end and was too determined to finish it hoping that it would be good.

She lived by three rules; never lose a cross-country race, never get anything less than an A in class and never talk to Cade Kelley. If you love a one-of-a-kind romance with swoon-worthy heroes and toe-curling kisses, you'll love Coming Home to Honey Grove. But what the principal does not know is that they have a history which makes it hard for Penny to work with him. Olivia thought she had the perfect plan; to convince Ethan, the school quarterback who had been her best friend since they were little, to offer himself as the prize in her march making test, in which she intends to use the proceeds to pay for a vacation for the band. When Josh's mother, the town's busy body, arranges for Beth to be his nanny, Josh decides to go along with the plan. The narrator has really done a good job thru voice variations that really brings the characters and story to life.
