About this deal

This was THE fragrance, back in 1997, that really roped me in to the game; that made "colognes", fragrances.

I think its one of these frags that you would have to mix wih another perfume for a better projection. Great office scent because it is not offensive at all, and you can lather it without worrying about offending anyone.I can feel sandalwood with its sweet powdery smell beside the aromatic green notes but I'm not sure what is making BLV a soapy powdery perfume without any aldehydes, Iris or powdery accord. It's also lightly powdery and got a clean soapy vibe to my nose with a little creaminess from the sandalwood.

A special kind of men’s fragranceWith the eau de toilette spray Bvlgari pour Homme, Bvlgari has created a perfume that has a bold, seductive effect.I felt obligated to wear Bulgari Pour Homme because to me it smells like the Platonic ideal of an expensive, flawlessly tailored and pressed suit. Aldehydes add an airiness (as opposed to an expanding sparkle) while orange and bergamot add the needed citricity (and not a drop more) to attenuate the tea and petit grain; as they perfectly dissolve into leaf-tinged powdery floral notes of lavender and neroli closing a veritable perfect circle of clean, sans any of the usual soapy associations. This smells as if a fresh cold windy day somehow ended up in a bottle of champaigne and brought along a few clouds, who are a bit confused as to what on earth are they doing there. First smelled this on a friend who was standing about three feet away but the wind was blowing in my direction. Well, I am very terrible on the notes, but yes, I can describe the easiest path to understanding this perfume.

suave, discreto porém marcante, mulheres amam isso em um homem, rente a pele, mas elegante e fino, charmoso. When I first encountered BPH, it was almost a decade after its release (2006) and I bought it scent unsniffed, from an online retailer after reading the reviews of Fragranticans far wiser and experienced than myself. This seems like an 'everyday wear' perfume because it isn't loud or sharp but more constant and soothing. I'm surprised to like something so subtle, however after many partners with strong fragrances, I've been craving a man that wears lighter scents. The juniper, sandalwood and ginger are the standouts here, but they are soft, sophisticated and mix together seamlessly. I understand the reference to Fahrenheit that Morkant mentions, is it the combination of lavender and spice? A decent long-lasting fragrance that reminds me of the numerous Nautica colognes as well as Alfred Sung Hei. However, though I enjoyed these qualities, the masculine notes faded very quickly leaving a powdery, floral impression. I've owned a considerable number and variety of fragrances, ranging from old-school to more contemporary ones.

My sister didn't like it at all, but for me, it's an interesting combination of cool, creamy, herbal and sweet. Barely there, I decided to use the rest of the sample vial, and wow, the amount of alcohol surprised me. The amber and tonka in the base of this composition give a gentle kiss of sweetness to round out this fragrance.I am reminded of Salvatore Ferragamo a bit with its juicy, pelargonium heart, yet the green tea note and vetiver in BPH is more-obvious, the woods and clean musk supporting the serene, carefree quality. I'm pretty sure I smelt this one before and really liked, but never thought it was a Bvlgari classic fragrance. Starts off with the trademark bvlgari tea note mixed with a light smooth orange grind accord along with some other florals which ultimately warms down into a light aromatic and slightly woody and musky base. I'm not sure what happened, but about 15 minutes later when the top notes were gone, I really didn't like the middle or dry down. My own chemistry (uh, sweat) takes the florals off this (improvement) but I'm left with something muddled and uncertain, like good scented soap.
