They leaked after a year due to abrasion and a rip or two as they are obvioulsy pretty thin compared to more expensive waders but Diver Dave sorted them. In reality, they are soo baggy and not slim at all, the foots gets sweaty and they are not looking like trousers at all. I guess the best waders are what the trout anglers use with a sock not boot and breathable, but very expensive! This is the first pair of waders I've owned though, so I don't know if they all do it, or if I should have gone up to the 'fat b*stard' size!

I am just resigned these days to getting wet in fact in a surf situation even in good waders I expect to get wet. It is no help to you but over the years and way too many of them I have found that its a given that chest waders leak.

I've not tried wearing mine for a long time yet though, sweatness I couldn't tell you as longest I've had em on for is about n hour and was okk then. I have lost good fish messing about putting waders on due to easing off the pressure whilst doing so and after that you think why not just dive in?
