Rather than the smokiness complementing the sweetness or vice versa it feels like the two scents are in an all out battle for attention and its overwhelming to me. Getting a bit more focused on the notes I definitely get the moist cherry tobacco, vanilla with some mature tonka, and a mixture of pungent spices like clove and anise. If you’re in the market for a beautifully crafted tobacco scent then you don’t have to look no further than this for real. Only negative thing I can say is that the opening has a bit of a cherry cough medicine vibe going on, but that dissolves after a couple of minutes.

I don't pick up on the honey that others mention, but I do feel like there's a hint of licorice in the background which is very nice. People who say this is an exact (or very decent/close) clone of ''Pure Havane'' or Xerjoff Naxos should reconsider their sense of smell. I can confirm it does last a good amount of time on skin and that it is still worth the money even if I am being quite observant on it instead of instantly in love. No mention of his batch code, no mention of HOW he actually measured longevity (did he ask others to smell him? On the other hand, heavier notes, found in fragrances, suitable for the cooler months, such as musk and wood do not do well when mixed with a person’s sweat.

The brightest and greenest of this fragrance family, Insurrection II Wild is also the least gourmand of the set, balancing the honey-tonka sweetness with aromatic green notes.

Also here (as with Sillage by Armaf) everything started with the fact that I sprayed in the perfumery once again randomly loose, including "Naxos" by Xerjoff. But longest maceration period I've ever had for a scent that's just alright - not for typical tobacco lovers, the honey is dominant and synthetic. a few sprays in the morning and it's still there at night (so far only Lagerfeld Classic can match that for a tobacco fragrance).

It's Sweet Pipe Tobacco (cherry), Honey, Vanilla and Spice - including its amazing, slightly "oudy" Honey note (probably helped by the Cacao) that elevates it into a living, breathing, sensuous Man-Frag! overall just because it's good but not great, has nice projection but bad longevity, round but still cheap and synthetic. Yeah, you are right, it isn't listed in the notes, rather I also detect a hint of vanilla which provides an extra creamy and powdery smoothness. The shower gel stays discreetly in the background, but is nevertheless a permanent guest in the cherry choir! It doesn't have the cherry note that's in pure havane, which makes it a little darker and masculine, but it is still very similar.

after Naxos edit: wow this is close, obviously, Naxos smells richer, dressed up, and expensive but this does a pretty good job at getting that honey sweetness, not bad at all, and will hold out on that 8 to 8. The heart note continued with a sour leather chord mixed with vanilla spices, almost as if one had filled a large amount of patchouli leaves and vanilla sticks into a leather backpack. A linear gourmand but one that's so pleasant you'll be thinking smugly of your own scent throughout the day. Top notes are Tobacco and Honey; middle notes are Patchouli, Vanilla and Cocoa; base notes are French Labdanum, Amber and Styrax. I do get a slight whiff of liquorice on the initial spray but quickly settles into beautiful gourmand scent.
