I did wind up skimming through a few parts just because I got a little annoyed with how much this bitch moaned. Syn enforces the laws, exacting justice to any and all of the creatures who shattered her life the moment they entered it. I was SO excited to have my heart broken over those (there was just so much promise on the misunderstandings and jealous rages they could bring on), but, alas… even though the makings of exquisite love triangle-angst were glaring, they didn’t quite reach that level for me to have my world rocked, ya know?

I am here to tell you it is absolutely NOT… the over-the-top hot-hot chemistry and fantastic dialogue is what I loved about this series.And like the first one in both of those series ( Darkfever by Karen Marie Moning and Dark Light by S. O. hits (referred to as "1-shot") or counterattack moves, or can be executed with a finishing blow when the player's opponent is in "Piyori condition," a brief spell of dizziness in which opponent's life bar has been drained completely and the fighter is allowed only limited control.

I have already purchased book two, despite it being midnight, and I know I will get absolutely zero sleep because I will HAVE to read it as soon as humanly possible.

Of course, at this time, our love-Interest makes a lasting first impression when he starts sexually harassing information out of Synthia. Now when I say they couldn't keep their hands off each other I'm was serious, when it comes to these two together, they don't need much to set them off. The sex scenes weren't very tastefully written, and in my opinion, the 'dirty talk' made me cringe a little bit inside. I’ve just started the Dark Light series and my impression is close to yours Maryse about Fighting Destiny…a bit disconnected and the heroine is young and a bit willfully ignorant…and I thought it was a complete series!Synthia’s ultimate ambition In life is to keep the world safe and free from the evil, cruel hands of the Fae who prey on all humans for nourishment, feeding off of their life source. I need to compile a new all time favorites list because there are several I have to add now thanks to this blog. As doubts continue to overtake her, Ryder is there to seduce her and give her affection and security like she has never felt before.
