He’s out for revenge, but it backfires as they are shipwrecked on an island with a dangerous lighthouse keeper who has a terrible secret. Plus, he definitely assaults her by fucking her and almost drowning her, but it’s just brushed over, and she forgives him when he apologizes…what? There is one particular scene in this book that I’d heard about ever since this book came out, and it didn’t disappoint — it was unforgettable!
