I think this is fairly complex for a mass market designer fragrance and I definitely recommend trying this if you can if you're looking for something a bit different. Despite their different ingredients, its smell reminds me a lot of Aramis Gentleman - masculine, fresh, smooth and spicy - although Bleu Astral lasts much longer.

I am yet to come across a scent that captures rosemary this good, like the smell when you bruise rosemary leaves between your fingers. at everyone who passes you on the street, but nonetheless want to smell really nice and make a moderately classy impression when someone is close. quite easy to overspray and is quite strong and easy to overdo however does not project as much as you would expect it to for it smelling so strong.Fifteen minutes later, a semi-dirty vetiver/leather-ish kind of accord kicks in, muddying the whole affair in a way that I just don't understand. The opening has a lot going on, lots of blue spices and I was reminded of Chanel Blue, but when it dried down all of that stuff went away and I was left with ginger ale.

Unique, Unusual, Entrancing, Mesmerizing, Spellbinding, Beguiling, Captivating, Singular, Noteworthy, Distinctive, Remarkable, Memorable, Seductive, Impressive, Splendid, Magnificent, Resplendent, Sumptuous It performs really well as most IM fragrances do on my skin and will be my most worn out of the IM fragrances I own because it's office and family friendly. L'Eau Bleue makes a deceptively minimalist and austere impression, yet read the reviews: clearly it is complex and elusive.Perhaps peacefully resigned, as we Pacific Northwesterners are, to seasons of existential melancholy. He goes more in the direction of classics, I can't decide between Fougere or Chypre, because he owns shares of both. I see it in lineage with other Cavallier creations from the early 2000s, the superbly green Theorema Uomo and the impeccably polished Rive Gauche pour Homme.
