I feel so much sympathy and sorrow for what Enaiat had to go through, but at the same time, I couldn't connect with the story at all.

il viaggio è anche costelllato di gentilezze, che mi ha fatto piacere leggere, sintomo che nonostante le difficoltà e la vita difficile le cose belle si notano lo stesso. Einaiat attraverserà, tra molte difficoltà e ritorni forzati, Pakistan, Iran, Turchia, Grecia per approdare finalmente in Italia da clandestino, dove dopo diverse vicissitudini, incontrerà la famiglia affidataria che gli cambierà la vita.Lo scrittore Fabio Geda, con straordinaria empatia e cuore immenso, ha dato voce a Enaiatollah Akbari, afghano di etnia hazara, il quale all'età di circa dieci anni partì alla volta del Pakistan in compagnia di sua madre per poi ritrovarsi all'improvviso da solo senza nessuno su cui poter contare. la storia ha un lieto fine: attualmente il ragazzo è stato adottato in italia, da una famiglia che è stata la prima ad ospitarlo e che lo ha aiutato. I think in some ways, this distant, matter-of-fact narration is even more telling of the traumas that Akbari went through. Uno di quei libri che mentre lo leggi continui a pensare "Ecco un libro che tutti dovrebbero leggere".Nel mare ci sono i coccodrilli" mi ha commosso, intenerito, mi ha reso triste e speranzosa ma anche felice e soddisfatta.
