Hugo Boss Man is a very nostalgic fragrance for me, so when I bought this and realized they were very similar I was so happy 😄👌🏽 Its not a clone of the original, but as a flanker should, you definitely get the original’s dna in Just Different. A name like HUGO FLORAL would be better, but, judging from the adds, this would not have reached the market they were looking for.

However I feel it ever so slightly morphs towards Invictus which to me is Old Spice Signature rebottled. The black bottle, along with Jared Leto in a tux, might give the impression that it's a night/date fragrance. Very nice, similar to the original but less of the green apple that stays at the top for over 6 hours on Hugo, this one I feel is smoother but projects a littles less cause of the lack of sharpness in the top note. But this is where I come in to show my love for their line, some people try too hard to look for a fragrance that stands out way too much and is so complex and different, and in turn doesn't even grab attention from the public. My bottle opens with the ever familiar Hugo Boss apple note (I think they should trademark their version) accompanied by mint and basil. I love the original, it's fresh and uplifting, this one has parts I love, but the apple note is too sour.

It begins very strong and projects really well but dies down after about 2 hours on my skin, which is probably a good thing considering I found it too sweet and synthetic. Hugo just different - NOT AT ALL different, generic scent through and through - smell like cheap cologne, bench and hayden kho has better offering than this, I do not know what they were smoking when they release this.
