For lovers of Pride and Prejudice and Longbourn, a n intoxicating novel that tells the story of Charlotte Lucas, who marries the unfortunate Mr Collins after Lizzy Bennet spurns him. And maybe there were a few too many predictable metaphors and similes - which I'm sure served the author well in school but didn't add to the book for me.
